tiredestprincess:

ok new rule: if you’re gonna call me “cute” you have to specify whether you mean “cute like a little girl/baby animal” or “cute enough to bang mercilessly”

Just pointing out that in this case ‘why not both’ is not an acceptable answer.

while I can’t support Hamas or Israël I wish all media shows the full conflict. Israël is just as hatefilled and agressive as Hamas. Just because our Western society are scared of being anti-semitist we should not put off this mindless slaughter as justified.

Remember that Israël is the colonist not the one being colonized.

The Pakistani women who make footballs for the World Cup earn a paltry $100 per month. [x]

At least they are employed

Many of them earn below $100. Many of them have families - often consisting of 5-7 individuals - that rely directly upon on the meager income they generate from this extremely demanding job so them being “at least employed” doesn’t protect them from any kind of economic and social precarity and it doesn’t shelter them from unemployment because labor here is cheap and readily available; the worker is dispensable to the employer/company. So the “at least employed” comment from you was not only stupid but very telling of your piss-poor understanding of wages. I understand many of you love football and will go as far as shoving it up your ass to show your dedication to it but the next time you decide opening your mouth about these workers, consider this noble thought instead: Shut the fuck up.

Ever wondered if he/she meant that that these women are employed and still have an income, meager as it may be. In regard to India’s massive population, how many could only dream of earning $100 a month.
Bashing someone is easy and you were pretty quick to stereotype him or her.
Finally, football is not the cause of this, the world cup is not the cause of this. The history and underlying structures of countries like India are the root of the problem. Western capitalism is not evil, it’s simple, practical and uses easy and cheap opportunities when and where it sees it.
So next time don’t come with these World Cup is evil look at these people crap. Come with idea’s. There’s a big difference between striving for justice and equality and simply complaining about the lack thereoff.
